About me
Grazi Mendes was recognized as one of the 100 most influential Afro-descendant futurists in the world by MIPAD in partnership with the UN. She serves as the LATAM Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Thoughtworks, a global technology consultancy. She is a guest professor at Fundação Dom Cabral and a columnist for the MIT Sloan Management Review. She holds a master’s degree in design, centered on futures design with a focus on the inclusion of Black women in technology. Actively engaged in initiatives for racial and gender equity in the workforce, she is also a specialist in Neuroscience and Behavior and in Digital Innovation. She co-founded the “Voa, Papagaio!” project, which aims to support marginalized youth in accessing universities. She is a TEDx speaker and has been recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice.
