Jack Mardack is the cofounder of Oyster, the global employment platform whose mission is to democratize access to knowledge work jobs. Having recently completed their series D four years after inception at a valuation of $1.2B, Oyster is proving that a for-profit company can combine high growth and commercial success with global scale positive impact. Before Oyster, Jack learned companycraft and growth at a string of Bay Area startups including three acquisitions and one IPO. Before that, Jack was an investment banker in New York. He’s a passionate gardener and lives with his wife Lauren in La Mesa, California.
