About me
Orkut Buyukkokten is a renowned social pioneer and computer scientist with a Master’s and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University. While at Stanford, California, he launched the first of his four successful social networks, Club Nexus.
He has extensive expertise in social media and mobile technologies, which led to the widespread adoption of orkut.com. The social network amassed over 300 million users worldwide and, at its peak, accounted for more than 50% of Google’s page views.
