Scalability and internationalization will be the great challenges for the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition, sectors such as Healthcare, Social Impact and Green Business will stand out this year, reflecting the commitment of startups to well-being and sustainability. The growth of female entrepreneurship in areas such as E-Commerce and Cybersecurity will also be key, a trend that we must extend to other sectors.
This year, we will work together to address these challenges and take advantage of the opportunities of a more innovative and diverse ecosystem, and at South Summit we will focus on them to boost the global competitiveness of the ecosystem. Our CEO, Nacho Mateo, share some of the key factors that will mark the ecosystem in 2025:
Two of the fundamental pillars that will mark 2025 and that will be very present in the next edition of South Summit will be scalability and internationalization. This is undoubtedly one of the great challenges that all actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem must address, and this year we are going to put a lot of focus on this great challenge that we have ahead of us to remain competitive at a global level.
We will also place special emphasis on some sectors with great potential this year, such as Healthcare, Social Impact, and Green Business. We increasingly see how society and new generations value issues such as well-being and personal care more, and this is also reflected in newly created companies, which are more committed than ever to generating a positive impact on society.
And we have also identified through our entrepreneurship map an increase in female entrepreneurship in some specific sectors such as E-Commerce and Cybersecurity, something that we must continue to promote towards other sectors, and that will undoubtedly mark the evolution of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
All of this and many other topics are what we are preparing for the next edition of South Summit, where, as every year, we will bring together the most relevant voices of the global entrepreneurial ecosystem and where we will together address the great challenges of 2025.
