About me
Wagner Lopes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and a Master’s degree in Administration with a focus on Innovation, Technology, and Sustainability, also from UFRGS. He has extensive experience in strategic project management and business administration, along with a strong track record in innovation and startup ecosystems, having worked with organizations such as AmCham, Grupo Four, and South Summit.
At the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), he played a strategic role in building and implementing the entity’s national innovation structure. Later, he joined Grupo Four’s Venture Builder, contributing to the development of companies focused on digital platforms and ecosystems.
In 2021, he became COO of South Summit Brazil, playing a key role in establishing the event as a reference in Latin America’s innovation ecosystem. His leadership has driven the expansion and strengthening of the platform, connecting startups, investors, and transformative agents on both national and international levels.
Currently, Lopes serves as the Country Manager of South Summit Brazil, leading the event’s operations in its new phase of strategic growth while actively contributing to the development of the innovation ecosystem in Brazil and Latin America.
